Addition & Remodel in Colorado

(photos taken 1 month prior to completion)

End to end and top to bottom remodeling, plus multiple additions, transformed this Englewood, Colorado house into a gracious, up to date estate home that references the grand, leisurely properties found on cape cod.

A new carriage house was built with quarters for guests above and cars below. It was designed to appear older than the main house, as if it were the first building on the property rather than the last. It links to the main house via a wooden arbor that will become overgrown with vines.

Cascading brick patios and a large simple pool extend the house into the landscape toward the existing tennis court & gazebo beyond.

Interiors
Site built fir trusses, a stone fireplace wall and a bank of mahogany french doors give the family room a lodge feel.

Furniture cabinetry lends character to the kitchens.

Generous windows, french doors and skylights bring light deep into the house. From the upstairs baths down to the basement rec room, the formerly dark house is now inviting and bright.
