veranda This remodel encompassed all interior and exterior areas of a large 1980's  custom home, set dramatically in the rolling hills near Mt. Diablo. The substantial qualities of the house were enhanced and the imitation detailing was removed. By introducing authentic materials and finishes throughout the house and landscape, the quality of the home was elevated to the level it had only aspired to previously. Artistry, craftsmanship and detail brought new integrity and beauty to the residence.

The kitchen cabinets were designed as furniture. Cherry, maple and glazed finishes vary to create a feeling that the pieces were collected over the years and assembled here. The granite countertops unify the cabinets into one working kitchen. bitt_kitch_refrig_island.jpg (66925 bytes)
